A Real Blast.... Cape Military History:
The Cape has a rich military history. On this tour, we could
start at the oldest fortification, the Castle of Good Hope
and then follow a fortification and cannon route around the

Route was of great importance and who had vested interests
here.
Nearly all was lost ... Shipwrecks
and Lighthouses:
The early mariners called this the Cape of Storms and many
paid the ultimate price here. There are hundreds of shipwrecks
around Cape Town, some you can visit and others, like the
Flying Dutchman, have become the stuff of legends. On our
tour, we’ll find some old and new wrecks and we’ll
also visit one of the lighthouses which were built to assist
sailors around our treacherous coast.
Natural History... Fascinating Fossils:
We could take you on a voyage of discovery to a fossil park
near Cape Town where many thousands of fossils bones of extinct
animals have been found. The list includes an African bear,
sabre-tooth tiger, short-necked giraffe and a megatooth shark.
For budding archaelogists who want to get their hands dirty,
there’s the opportunity to sift through sand and find
small fossils.
