Hout Bay is situated on the Atlantic Seaboard, 20 minutes
drive from the City centre and the V and A Waterfront in a
quiet, extremely scenic part of Cape Town. Hout Bay has its
own beach, harbour emporium, shops, restaurants and many facilities.
From here you can take a scenic route to many other places
of interest around Cape Town.
Wolwekrantz Cottage is situated on the mountain slopes, above
Hout Bay Village and beach and has wraparound views of the
beautiful Bay, harbour and Sentinel mountain. The cottage
stands on a large property, a distance from the main house
and has its own private garden and barbeque area. Children
love to explore the main garden, with its beautiful plants
and trees, mountain stream, ponds and lots of space to run
off energy. They also love the large swimming pool.
The cottage is spacious: there are two bedrooms, the Main
Bedroom, with Queen size bed, has an en suite bathroom with
shower and bath. The second bedroom is a cozy loft room and
is a favourite with children. The loft is not suitable for
toddlers, but for them and babies we provide a camp cot downstairs.
There is a second bathroom with shower downstairs.
The living area has an open-plan lounge-dining room with TV
and there is a well equipped kitchen.
You will enjoy the character and ambience of this historic
place with its spectacular views and your children will love
its freedom and space.
Cottage Rates:
High Season: October to April R325-R450 per adult per night
Low Season: May to September R200-300 per adult per night
Children 12 years and under: free
Children 13 to 17 years: half adult rate
Rates are negotiable for any stay longer than 5 days
